For over 37 years Camfel has partnered with thousands of schools inspiring students across the country. Camfel assemblies are designed for grades K-12. The programs are packed with feature film clips, student interest stories, and music that students will be sure to recognize and love.

The programs are known for empowering students with great tools to effectively deal with issues such as bullying, the pressure to use drugs & alcohol, negative peer-pressure. The assembly motivates students to excel in the classroom and help develop positive relationships with those around them.

A lack of self-control can significantly alter the choices we make in life. Failing to get a grip of self-control can lower our defenses, making it easy to give in to peer pressure, and harder to say no to things like smoking, alcohol, and drugs. Low self-control can decrease your ability to study effectively or to live a healthy lifestyle, leading to lower grades and a negative self-image.

GET A GRIP! is a 40 minute multi-media experience that will help students see the big picture for their lives - helping them understand that positive self-control leads to healthy relationships, academic success, and positive feelings about one's self and others.
